History

At the beginning of last century, a pastrycook from Espluga de Francolí, Ricard Farrer Climent, gave the name without intending to, through his initials RI-FA-CLI, to one of the most famous brands of artisan products in the area.

Through the passing of the years, with patience and through continuous tests made in his workshop, he achieved, by mixing the various natural ingredients, the creation of the delicious almond biscuits, fans, rolled wafer, and other products related to biscuits.

The respect for tradition can still be seen today in the factory located in the beautiful medieval town of Montblanc, with the manual and artisan making of amongst other products, rolled wafers and fans, which are typical of the region.

The introduction of new technology is present with an automated system of packing, which provides modernity to the traditional process.
